Housing insecurity: Eviction concerns mount during the pandemic

Some states have lifted their moratorium on evictions in recent weeks. However, Governor Whitmer recently extended the moratorium for renters in Michigan through July 15. While some landlords struggle to cover their mortgages, nonprofit groups are trying to provide assistance to renters in order to stave off evictions, which could lead to an increase in vacancies and homelessness amid an pandemic.  Christy McDonald talks with Ted Philips of the United Community Housing Coalition and Wayde Kohler of the Wayne County Real Estate Investors Association about this pressing issue.
