American Black Journal 50th Anniversary Celebration
American Black Journal marked its 50th anniversary in 2018. The show has been a respected platform for the African American perspective since 1968. Detroit PBS celebrated this milestone with a special anniversary event at Detroit’s Garden Theater. Hosted by Stephen Henderson, the night honored American Black Journal’s legacy with special guest interviews, archival footage from past shows and musical performances.
