African-American Family Book Expo / Sphinx Competition

On the next American Black Journal, we take a look at the importance of literacy in the Black community. An upcoming book expo is hoping to increase literacy in the city by celebrating reading and African American authors.  Plus, a special report on an African-American violinist who is taking the classical music world by storm. We’ll see his performance at this year’s Sphinx Competition.
