INFANT MORTALITY AWARENESS MONTH / HIP HOP ARTIST NIQUE LOVE RHODES

On the next American Black Journal, September is National Infant Mortality Awareness Month, and we’ll check in with the Detroit Health Department for the latest on efforts to reduce the city’s high infant mortality rate. We’ll get some advice and information on how mothers and their babies can stay safe and healthy.  Plus, we’ll meet a young Detroit hip hop artist whose socially conscious lyrics and creative beats are attracting a lot of attention.
