COVID313 – COVID Long-Haulers, Vaccines for Children

This Week’s COVID313 Town Hall Features:

COVID-19 vaccines for children are now available, but do you still have questions or concerns about the vaccine’s efficacy? Plus, what have doctors found out about the long-term effects of the coronavirus?

This week on Detroit PBS COVID313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall, four medical health experts Rodica Pop-Busui, the director of the diabetes complications clinic at the University of Michigan Health, Dr. Oveta Fuller, a virologist and associate professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Dennis Cunningham, a pediatrician with Henry Ford Health System, and Dr. Herman Gray, the chair of the Wayne State University Department of Pediatrics join the live stream to help parents make an informed decision about vaccines for children.

Plus, they’ll discuss the millions of people — COVID Long-Haulers — who continue to deal with lingering symptoms of COVID-19 months after first contracting the virus.
