COVID313 – COVID Long-Haulers, Vaccines for Children
This Week’s COVID313 Town Hall Features:
COVID-19 vaccines for children are now available, but do you still have questions or concerns about the vaccine’s efficacy? Plus, what have doctors found out about the long-term effects of the coronavirus?
This week on Detroit PBS COVID313 Community Coalition Virtual Town Hall, four medical health experts — Rodica Pop-Busui, the director of the diabetes complications clinic at the University of Michigan Health, Dr. Oveta Fuller, a virologist and associate professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Dennis Cunningham, a pediatrician with Henry Ford Health System, and Dr. Herman Gray, the chair of the Wayne State University Department of Pediatrics — join the live stream to help parents make an informed decision about vaccines for children.
Plus, they’ll discuss the millions of people — COVID Long-Haulers — who continue to deal with lingering symptoms of COVID-19 months after first contracting the virus.
